The Challenge
Before the IndOz Conference was established, there were limited platforms in Australia dedicated to fostering deep, meaningful connections between Australian and Indonesian industry and government leaders. While both nations shared a long-standing relationship, there was a gap when it came to consistent, structured opportunities for bilateral dialogue, collaboration, and economic empowerment.
The Solution
Recognising the need for a dedicated space to bridge this gap, David Widjaja founded the IndOz Conference in 2013, driven by a mission to deepen economic, educational and social ties between Australia and Indonesia. Now IndOz has evolved into the largest Indonesia–Australia business forum in the country.
Through keynote addresses, panel discussions and high-impact networking opportunities, IndOz continues to provide a platform for experts from both countries to engage in open dialogue and uncover new opportunities for partnership and progress.
Impact
Last year’s IndOz attracted a record 579 attendees across the IndOz Conference and Business Networking Dinner including industry and government representatives from across Indonesia and Australia.
From its inception, IndOz has now grown into the Nation’s largest Indonesia-Australia business event and we remain committed to building on each year’s success and ensuring IndOz continues to deliver real value. The previous events generated remarkable business opportunities including many signed partnerships between Australian and Indonesian businesses.
